Aura Sanchez Garrido works as an actress for Spanish films and television. She has acted in Stockholm and also in the television shows El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido is the daughter of Madrid native born 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is a conductor of orchestras and composer. Her mother, Pilar Sanchez is a painter. After taking her first piano class at the age of four, she started to learn ballet. As a child the way she spoke English was influenced by a close friend in English. When she finished her high school education and she attended Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid. She studied interpreter for three years, with a focus on translation of text. But she quit at the end of 2010 after she secured the role of Planes para manana. The film was nominated for the Goya Award in the category of best emerging actor, and was awarded the Silver Biznaga award for her role.
