Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent within the first round. Ladd went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight with a TKO after the second round. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She defeated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus for her performance during the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd took home the night's main event fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. After a break of a few seconds her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
